My Glasgow-based FMCG client is looking for a hands-on Senior Dynamics 365 Developer to take ownership of a critical CRM platform powering key business operations. This isn’t an architecture or “ivory tower” role. It’s for someone who thrives on building, fixing, optimising and owning —someone who understands how data truly flows across systems and wants to make things work better every day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Enhancing and supporting a live, business-critical Dynamics 365 / Dataverse environment
- Developing plugins, custom APIs, integrations and model-driven apps
- Owning end-to-end data flows – from upstream ingestion through to downstream platforms
- Diagnosing and resolving real-world issues across CRM, integrations and data pipelines
- Improving reliability, performance and maintainability across the platform
- Collaborating closely with users, product teams, data engineers and integration specialists
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM / Dataverse
- Experience working in complex, integration-heavy environments
- Proven ability to support and improve existing systems (not just greenfield builds)
- Knowledge of Azure integrations (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIs)
Why this role stands out:
- Work on a high-impact, established platform with real business visibility
- Tackle complex data and integration challenges
- Genuine opportunity to shape and improve a live CRM estate
- Join a team that values practical delivery over theory

How to prepare for a job interview at Head Resourcing
✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Head Resourcing uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.
✨Showcase Your Projects
Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.
✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions
While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
