Senior Business Analyst (AI Programme) required for our Consultancy client for an initial 9-Month engagement in London (hybrid). The right candidate must be an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivering complex change initiatives across the full project lifecycle within large-scale and regulated environments. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong requirements gathering and analysis skills, with the ability to translate business needs, policies and governance requirements into practical solutions and deliverable outcomes, must be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, capable of challenging existing processes, defining future-state operating models and driving consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. You should be highly adaptable, able to thrive in ambiguous environments.
The role requires candidates to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company. Candidates will be required to work onsite in London 2-3 days per week.
Experience working on AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI programmes would be highly advantageous, particularly involvement in defining AI use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable business outcomes. Knowledge of Agentic AI, Responsible AI principles and AI governance frameworks would be particularly valuable, alongside experience designing controls, oversight mechanisms and validation processes for AI-enabled solutions.
The successful candidate should be comfortable collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, Data Specialists and Technology teams and will ideally have exposure to business architecture, service design, operating model transformation or wider business change initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of AI-enabled business capabilities, helping to deliver the technical and operational foundations required to scale Artificial Intelligence across the organisation. You will work as part of a programme team focused on the implementation of innovative AI solutions, including emerging Agentic AI technologies.
Skills & Experience
- Significant Business Analysis experience across the full project lifecycle within complex programmes and delivery environments.
- Proven experience gathering, documenting and managing business requirements for large-scale change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage and influence senior business leaders.
- Experience working in regulated and/or complex organisational environments.
- Excellent workshop facilitation skills with the ability to define and challenge As-Is and To-Be business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly translate business needs into functional outcomes.
- Demonstrable business acumen and the ability to quickly understand new domains and operating models.
- Experience working through requirements gathering, design, testing and implementation phases.
- Confident operating in ambiguous environments and providing constructive challenge when required.
- Innovative approach to problem solving and process improvement.
- Experience translating policies, standards and governance requirements into practical business and technical requirements.
- Experience working on AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI initiatives and knowledge / practical experience of Agentic AI solutions is highly desireable.
