Scrum Master Contract 3 months initially with potential to extend
Location: Edinburgh (circa 2 days per week in the office)
Rate: £400-£500 per day (via Umbrella Company)
A well-known Edinburgh based Client is currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master Contractor to join their Technology Function. This will be a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of agile delivery, Jira administration, stakeholder engagement and technology-driven business change.
The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners/Product Teams, Application Teams and Technology Leadership to drive consistent delivery practices. To be successful, our Client seeks candidates with the following knowledge/experience:
- Recent experience working as a Scrum Master (or Agile Delivery Lead) within other Technology Functions, facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Strong & proven experience of Scrum, Kanban and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Leading Detailed Jira knowledge & expertise with previous experience configuring Jira workflows, boards, schemes, permissions and reporting.
- The ability to lead Agile teams and engage a range of Stakeholders.
- Strong & clear communication skills alongside 1st class inter-personal skills.
- Previous knowledge/experience of Digital Transformation/Technology transformation programmes within medium-large organisations would be highly advantageous – Utilities, Energy, FMCG, Construction, Public Sector etc.
