An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Performance Analyst to join a high-performing investment team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about investment data, performance analysis, and delivering high-quality reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

As a Performance Analyst - Performance Measurement, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of performance reporting across the business. You will analyse and coordinate investment performance data for use in both internal and external reporting, supporting key stakeholders including fund managers, clients, and consultants. You will collaborate closely with teams across investment, technology, and distribution, as well as engaging with external vendors, to deliver insightful analysis and support continuous improvement in performance reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and deliver accurate, high-quality performance attribution and risk reports within agreed timelines
  • Support fund managers and sales teams with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests
  • Prepare periodic management risk and information reports with a strong focus on precision and consistency
  • Manage the production and delivery of Style Research Skyline and related reports
  • Assist with client servicing, including segregated fund performance calculations and base fee support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and enhance reporting capabilities
  • Ensure systems, methodologies, and outputs are aligned with business needs and product complexity
  • Maintain compliance with GIPS standards and ensure composites and procedures are kept up to date
  • Liaise with external performance measurement providers and vendors
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of investment performance measurement techniques
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle complex data sets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid knowledge of investment products and financial markets
  • Experience with performance and analytics systems such as FactSet, Lipper, and Style Research
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
