Head Resourcing are pleased to be working with a global manufacturer who are headquartered in Scotland as they look to hire an Oracle Functional Specialist. Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with global operations producing a wide range of high-quality products. Our client is seeking an ERP Functional Application Specialist within Supply Chain to lead process analysis, solution design, configuration, and advanced support for their global ERP platform.
In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with IT and business teams to drive best-practice adoption, enhance system performance, and maximise ERP value. You will bring deep functional expertise in Supply Chain and manufacturing, paired with the technical aptitude to design scalable, secure solutions. You will also identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs, using data-driven insights to guide and validate enhancements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite in a functional capacity
- Extensive experience in manufacturing and ERP with particular experience around Supply Chain Management
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing process inputs and outputs and the ability to translate business need into functional ERP requirements
- Ability to propose solutions to business problems based on functional requirements and collaborate with other technical colleagues to plan for implementations and upgrades to complex solutions
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, XML preferred
- Agile / Scrum methodologies preferred
