Lead PMO Delivery Analyst needed urgently for our Financial Services client based in Edinburgh . The right candidate must have extensive demonstrable experience delivering PMO services within Financial Services environments combined with experience working as a Senior PMO, Lead PMO or PMO Manager on Transformation programmes.
The role must be engaged via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company and requires the successful candidate to work 2 days per week onsite in Edinburgh. Candidates must be flexible on these days as they may not be set each week and may change, depending on priorities.
The Lead PMO Delivery Analyst will report directly to the Senior PMO Delivery Manager, and will support transformation Value Stream/Portfolio activities, providing key Management Information to Programme Managers and Exec members while also providing governance and support to Value Stream/Portfolio Delivery.
The right candidate must have demonstrable experience in Senior PMO roles within Delivery and Transformation projects & Programmes, strong Governance, MI and Stakeholder management expertise and must be outgoing, able to challenge senior stakeholders to ensure delivery is kept on track and deadlines are kept.
You will be partnering with aligned Programme Managers to lead training initiatives with PMs and help them to adhere to the delivery methodology and framework, supporting Delivery Directors, Programme Managers and collaborating with VMO Managers to ensure accurate information is maintained and available for progress and value reporting.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience within PMO & Transformation Delivery roles and environments, including demonstrable input into digital delivery activities
- Knowledge and experience of working within Agile environments and an understanding of agile delivery methodologies and execution
- Experience of engaging leadership team level stakeholders to explore digital transformation opportunities
- Experience delivering quality information on the status, risks and issues associated with projects and portfolios to relevant management groups, ensuring actions from the meetings are captured and progress against them is communicated and tracked
- Excellent interpersonal/presentation skills combined with Team building capabilities – with strong management skills and experience of developing highly talented teams with an ability to motivate and excite them
- Very strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities able and willing to work across the team build strong networks of diverse relationships, including the ability to challenge when necessary
- Strong customer focus with the ability to collaborate with wider teams (both in person and in a remote environment)
- Good commercial awareness and understanding
- Previous experience within Financial Services and transformation environments
