A fantastic new BI Business Analyst Contract has just arisen with an established Glasgow based Client, a well‑known name to many. Joining a central Business Intelligence/Insights Team, the successful candidate will be required to support a key project focused on integrating/centralising key BI reports from other areas/functions of the business into the Central BI Team.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with key stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and carry out a lot of Data Discovery to ensure reporting from the other business areas/functions can be brought in line with the Central Team's dashboards & reports.
To be successful, we're looking for candidates with the following knowledge & experience:
- Proven experience as a BI Business Analyst, ideally in an agile, data intensive environment, with deep expertise in gathering requirements & process analysis.
- A BI/data background with a solid grounding & understanding of Business Intelligence and Insights.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Discovery, Data Capture, Data Mapping and Data Visualization.
- Expert SQL querying knowledge/experience with strong understanding of large databases.
- First Class communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, self-managing team player with a curious & flexible approach.
Any German Speaking/Reading skills would be highly advantageous but NOT essential. Finally, any experience working in other Central BI / Reporting / Insights / MI Teams or CoE's would be highly advantageous but not essential.
