A large & well-known Client in Edinburgh is currently seeking a Data Domain Specialist to drive data governance, quality, and stewardship across a key function of their business. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, the successful candidate will ensure critical business data is accurate, trusted, well-governed, and fit for purpose while supporting wider data management and transformation initiatives.
To be successful, key skills & experience should include:
- Proven expertise as a Data Consultant with strong knowledge & in-depth experience in establishing Data Governance & Data Quality Management rules & principles.
- Proven knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and data harmonisation initiatives.
- Strong Business Systems & ERP knowledge (ideally MS Dynamics or Business Central).
- Ability to work closely with business and technical teams, understanding what "good" looks like & translating requirements into effective data solutions.
- Strong understanding of Finance and/or Operational business data, with excellent analytical skills.
- 1st class people & Stakeholder Management skills.
