Whether you are currently completing (or have already completed) a Level 2 Beauty Therapy course, or have undertaken a Level 2 apprenticeship and are ready to elevate your skills, this is a unique pathway into the luxury wellness industry. Eden Hotel Collection is a collection of 5 luxury, privately owned boutique hotels across the Midlands and Devon. Our Spa Apprenticeship is available in our 3 Spa hotels – Mallory Court in Leamington Spa, The Greenway in Cheltenham, and Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park.
A Truly Bespoke Apprenticeship Experience
This is not your typical apprenticeship. Our award‑winning Spa Academy combines a Level 3 qualification in Beauty, Wellbeing & Holistic Therapy with hands‑on training in some of the country’s finest hotel spas, delivered in partnership with Cedars Health & Beauty Centre.
- Earn while you learn – Full‑time employment with real responsibility and progression
- Premium learning format – Monthly 3‑day training blocks (not day release), delivered at our hotels or training centre in Gloucester (travel and accommodation provided)
- Elite product training – Advanced treatments using world‑class brands including TEMPLESPA and JESSICA, through exclusive Eden Masterclasses
- Early treatment delivery – Begin delivering advanced treatments before completing your qualification – a rare and invaluable advantage
From mastering reception and guest experience to progressing through luxury facials, massage and holistic body therapies, our apprentices graduate fully prepared to thrive in a five‑star spa environment.
What We’re Looking For
- A Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy (or close to completion).
- Be prepared to apply yourself to the Level 3 qualification and studies and work hard in recognition of this amazing opportunity;
- A passion to provide holistic and beauty therapies according to a five star spa service standard;
- Exceptional grooming standards;
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential, along with a good sense of humour, team spirit, as well as a real and evident passion for both the industry and for Elan Spas.
Your Journey with Us
Work a minimum of 30 hours per week (including your training), usually starting during the summer months initially before officially starting your apprenticeship in September. Our spa operations run Monday–Sunday, so flexibility is essential; weekends are our busiest time so you can expect to work most weekends. Weekends off are generally once per month, fairly distributed within the team.
Be part of an academy with a proven track record – now welcoming our 7th intake of apprentices, many of whom have gone on to progress into Level 4 and senior roles within the collection. This is your chance to begin a career, not just a job, in one of the UK’s most respected spa destinations.
