We have a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Regional HR Advisor to report into the HR Business Partner for the South East Region. The right person will be responsible for delivering a full range of HR support and advice, overseeing HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, career development, and relevant HR projects. The HR Advisor will ensure the effective application of all HR policies, aligning them with regional and business-wide goals. Central to this role is the promotion of a positive and inclusive workplace culture, boosting employee engagement, and advancing diversity and inclusion throughout the region.

Your Mission at Elis

  • HR Advisory: Provide performance management, Employee Relation advice, reward and benefits advice, and handle disciplinary advice, grievances, and other HR issues.
  • Meeting Support: Attend and support formal meetings, offering advice on company policies and legal considerations, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Manager Coaching: Train line managers on HR policies and procedures through individual sessions and group meetings.
  • Data Management: Maintain tracking systems, create reports, and provide key metrics to the HR Business Partner.
  • Career Development: Coordinate apprenticeship arrangements and document learning and development activities.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity initiatives and ensure effective team communication.
  • Employee Engagement: Act as Regional Engagement Coordinator, participate in Employee Forums, and support engagement efforts and recognition programs.
  • HR Projects: Be creative and implement ideas and projects across the region to improve any subject concerning HR - either alone or as part of a team.

What will make you stand out?

Ideal candidates will ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent, have strong employment law knowledge, excellent communication and time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexibility and a professional attitude are essential. This role is based at one of our South East sites (Chatham / Northfleet / Dartford / Brixton/Merton) and will also involve travel to the other sites within the South Region. Minimum of four days a week to be worked from one of the Regional Sites. Occasional other travel is required, however, planned ahead.
