We are looking for a Group Operations Support Manager to help our hotels thrive. Working closely with our hotel teams and Head Office, you will provide leadership and practical support across our hotels. You will help strengthen business performance, develop our people and bring brand standards to life, ensuring every hotel offers a warm welcome and exceptional service.

Your role

As Group Operations Support Manager, you will help hotel teams deliver excellent results across guest experience, people development and commercial performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing hotel operations, including revenue, finance and human resources, to maintain high service standards and achieve business objectives
  • Driving sales, revenue and profitability while regularly reviewing labour costs and other operating expenses
  • Supporting all hotel departments to meet or exceed brand standards
  • Working closely with our brand partners and Head Office to review performance, identify areas for improvement and put effective action plans in place
  • Helping teams attract, recruit, develop and retain talented people
  • Identifying training needs and supporting the delivery of training that builds skills and confidence
  • Keeping the Company Director and relevant Head Office teams informed of operational issues and ensuring timely follow-up

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an approachable, confident leader who enjoys supporting people and helping hotels perform at their best. You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience as a General Manager, Deputy Hotel Manager or in a similar management role, ideally within a branded hotel
  • A well rounded understanding of front office, food and beverage, finance, revenue and human resources
  • In depth knowledge of food safety and health and safety standards
  • Experience delivering training, supporting team development and maintaining accurate training records
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach and the ability to stay composed and motivate others under pressure
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with guests, hotel managers and colleagues
  • Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required
