- Support the Area/Regional Manager in the day-to-day operation of multiple pubs, restaurants and hotel sites.
- Ensure excellent guest service, food quality and accommodation standards across all locations.
- Lead, coach and develop General Managers, Assistant Managers and wider teams.
- Monitor sales, labour costs, GP, wastage and other key financial targets.
- Drive food and beverage sales, room occupancy and overall site profitability.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety, health & safety and company policies.
- Carry out regular site visits, audits and operational reviews.
- Support recruitment, training, succession planning and performance management.
- Analyse business performance and create action plans to improve results.
- Work closely with kitchen, front-of-house, housekeeping and hotel teams.
- Maintain strong standards for rooms, cleanliness, maintenance and guest satisfaction.
- Support new openings, refurbishments, promotions and business improvement projects.
- Build relationships with suppliers and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Deputise for the Area/Regional Manager when required.
Key skills and experience
- Experience managing multiple hospitality venues.
- Strong background in pubs, restaurants, hotels or a combination of these.
- Commercial understanding of P&L, budgets, labour and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, licensing and health & safety.
- Ability to work across different sites and adapt to changing priorities.
- Confident communicator with strong customer-service skills.
- Able to analyse performance figures and turn them into practical action plans.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
