We are looking for experienced Scrub Practitioners across a variety of surgical specialties to join our team. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting our clients, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in the operating theatre environment. You will work as part of a team to ensure safe and effective delivery of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including but not limited to Orthopaedics, General, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT and Plastics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field for orthopaedic surgeries.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Handle surgical instruments and equipment with precision and care.
  • Adhere to infection control and health & safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Current registration with UK Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) or Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC), with no restrictions on practice.
  • A minimum of 18 months post graduate experience working as a scrub practitioner.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical standards, policies, surgical instruments and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
