Head Medical is delighted to be working with an established client in the Central Belt of Scotland. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate ward nurses to join our team, focusing on admissions and discharges. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective transitions for patients and work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities for the role:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments during admissions, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate and manage the discharge process, providing patients and their families with clear instructions and support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date patient records.
  • Maintain policies, procedures, standards and protocols of the clinical area to ensure adherence to and ensure delivery of the highest level of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with full registration with NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council – UK) and no restrictions on practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience within a ward setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a compassionate and patient‐centred approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced and dynamic environment.
