What are we looking for?
Specialist in Anatomical Pathology
General Pathologist, or Pathologist with special interest in pancreatobiliary and liver Pathology are welcome to apply.
Job Description
- Competent in reporting Histopathology and Cytopathology cases
- Cover frozen section service and periodic after-office hours frozen section service
- Conduct and attend tumour board meetings and multidisciplinary meetings
- Involve in validation of stains
- Participate in internal audits
- Participate in external quality assurance programs
- Contribute to educational activities and scholarly activities
- There is a minimum caseload of 3,200 specimens per year
The hospital is looking for a specialist with one or more of the below:
- Certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in Nephrology and Internal Medicine
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT or CCST) awarded by a competent authority of the UK or Ireland (Please note CESR is not recognised in Singapore)
- Certification by one of the Royal Colleges in Australia or New Zealand
