12 month fixed-term role
Dates: 01/05/2026 to 01/05/2027, inclusive
Salary: £64,614 to £78,664 pro-rata (based on experience)
Accommodation sourced and rent free/economy class flight (return) from the UK reimbursed
Responsibilities
- Participate in the delivery of a specialist clinical service and deliver a high standard of care to all patients.
- To competently perform a range of routine diagnostic lung function tests.
- To set up sleep studies, analysing and reporting sleep studies.
- To competently initiate patients on CPAP therapy, follow-up and review patients.
- To competently assess patients for BIPAP therapy, to initiate and follow up and review patients.
- To review and prioritise inpatient requests for respiratory investigations including lung function tests, sleep studies and CPAP/BIPAP set-ups.
Essential Qualifications and experience
- Right to work in the UK
- BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- Experience of working in a Lung Function and Sleep Investigations
- ARTP Part 1 & 2 qualifications
- Experience of working within a Respiratory Physiology Department. (Does not include placement/internship)
- Competently perform and analyse/interpreting Lung function tests, CPAP/BIPAP set-up, CPAP/BIPAP reviews and Sleep Studies
- Evidence of implementing innovation or having responsibility for part of service delivery.
