With approximately 7500 patients, the Wick practice is a unique combination of exciting medicine in a tranquil part of Scotland. GP appointments are 15 minutes and are a mix of telephone, face-to-face and video (Near Me) consultations. Appointment numbers are capped.

They will ask you to do some Docman and there may be a requirement to undertake a duty doctor role, consisting of telephone triage and face-to-face appointments. Usually 11 patients AM, 12 patients PM. Break is from 11am-2pm, this is where Docman, referrals, scripts, home visits, and lunch can be done.

They are very well supported by Caithness General Hospital (CGH) and links with Raigmore Hospital in Inverness are good. Full laboratory services are available within CGH as well as diagnostic radiology facilities. The Clinical Support team are very experienced and supportive.
