Working as part of a skillful multi-discipline team, Head Medical are seeking a Consultant Anaesthesia (General) to come to work for a leading private hospital in the UK. Based in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, you will be part of a professional, friendly, and compassionate team, ensuring high standards of patient care. Your responsibilities will include anaesthetising patients for various procedures, from ophthalmology to orthopaedics, gynaecology, and general surgery. You will also engage in departmental administration, management, and mentoring less experienced colleagues. This role involves elective procedures, with occasional postoperative theatre returns and participation in OPD pre-assessment on a rota basis.
