Working as part of a skillful multi-discipline team, Head Medical is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist (General) to work at a leading private hospital in the UK. Based in Plymouth, Devon, you will join a professional, friendly, and compassionate team committed to providing high-quality, prompt treatment in a clean and comfortable environment.
The successful candidate will anaesthetise patients for various procedures, including ophthalmology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, and general surgery. You will also participate in departmental administration, management, and in the development of less experienced colleagues. This role is primarily elective, except for postoperative patients requiring return to theatre, and includes participation in outpatient department (OPD) pre-assessment on a rota basis.
Applicants should have completed a substantial number of procedures independently, possess an excellent clinical record, and demonstrate efficiency in theatre.
