Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of an Elderly Medicine Service
• Share with colleagues the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Elderly Medicine Service.
• Teaching and training of junior staff and medical students
• To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.
• To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME)

Requirements to Apply:

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
• MBBS/MBChB and possess MRCP
• Eligible for entry on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or CESR in Medicine for the Elderly at time of interview
