Our team is expanding! We are looking for dedicated and skilled Scrub, Recovery Registered Nurses, Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs), and Theatre Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs) based in Scotland.

Overview: It has been a difficult two years for agency staff in Scotland, however things are picking up with our Theatre Division, and we are now in a position to recruit new practitioners for our team. The scrub skills we specifically require are Major Orthopaedics, ENT, Urology, Gynae, General, Trauma, Cosmetics/Plastics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of the operating theatre.
  • Provide direct patient care in scrub and recovery settings.
  • Support surgical teams with instruments and supplies during procedures.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions pre, during, and post-operation.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimum patient outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a background in Theatre.
  • 18 months' post-graduate experience.
  • Experience in scrub or recovery roles is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Relevant qualifications and current NMC registration for RNs or HCPC for ODPs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate patient care.
