We are looking for a mid-level Business Development professional (6-10 Years Experience) with strong exposure to the Telecom industry and experience in developing business across the UK and European markets. Preference will be given to a professional currently based in the UK who possesses domain knowledge of telecom passive infrastructure products suitable for Indian manufacturing capabilities such as:

  • Plastic Injection Moulding
  • Precision Metal Stamping
  • Electro Plating
  • Product Assembly
  • Telecom Connectivity Products

The candidate should preferably have working relationships or experience dealing with telecom operators, infrastructure providers, OEMs or system integrators or equivalent telecom operators across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification and development of new customers while maintaining existing customer relationships.
  • Ensure customer requirements are understood and fulfilled.
  • Identify new markets, customers, and product opportunities.
  • Understand customer product approval processes and drive approvals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis before product commitment.
  • Prepare costing estimates, commercial proposals and negotiate new business.
  • Coordinate with engineering for design inputs required for new product development.
  • Carry out market surveys and competitor analysis.
  • Drive business growth from existing customers through cross-selling and new product introductions.
  • Establish effective communication channels within customer organisations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Engineering, Quality, Production and Supply Chain for project execution.
  • Support the Finance Department in collection of overdue payments.

  • Strong business development experience in Telecom passive products, fibre optic connectivity, copper connectivity or related telecom components.
  • Good understanding of telecom operator procurement and qualification processes.
