Head Hunted Recruitment are working exclusively with an award winning business who are one of the largest in their sector and boasting a strong market presence. The company are in the process of hiring an experienced Product and Packaging Support Administrator to join their creative team. We are looking for a Product and Packaging Support Administrator who will work closely with the Design team and will be responsible for liaising with all departments relating to the design and artwork of packaging and products. The position would suit an individual who has a creative flare and has administration experience. This vacancy would suit a great team player with excellent attention to detail and a methodical work ethic along with the ability to work using their own initiative.
Objectives:
- Ensure the timely delivery of accurate, approved artwork to supplier factories and printers.
- Manage and maintain an up-to-date library of product samples for internal reference and quality checks.
- Support the team with packaging compliance by accurately documenting packaging waste and regulatory information.
- Maintain high standards of quality control across all artwork and packaging specifications.
- Respond to emails in a professional and timely manner, maintaining clear communication.
- Follow up on artwork proofs and product samples to keep projects on track and within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the product range to provide informed support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work alongside in-house and external designers to ensure artworks are checked and sent to factories in a timely manner.
- Brief artwork/design changes back to the designers from meetings or internal feedback.
- Assist the Product Development Coordinator with product design and production planning.
- Support in the creation of artwork mock-ups and display materials.
- Maintain an accurate and comprehensive database of product and artwork specifications.
- Benchmark competitor products for quality and specification to support ongoing product review and new product development initiatives.
- Provide quality checks on artwork samples against specifications.
- Oversee packaging orders and follow up on artwork proofs to ensure timely execution.
- Help with photoshoot set up and organising samples.
General Administration & Record Maintenance:
- Maintain a well-organized approved sample library for internal reference.
- Keep sample tracking spreadsheets updated and coordinate the dispatch of samples to customers as required.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of packaging waste.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure timely updates and handover of product information to relevant departments.
Required Skills and Experience:

This is an office based position and comes with an excellent salary of £30K per annum DOE.
