Head First is recruiting Female Waking Night Support Workers to join the support team of a 61 year old gentleman with an acquired brain injury, living independently in Hawkhurst. He has a warm sense of humour, values the relationships he builds with his team, and is committed to remaining active and independent.
You will provide essential overnight support, including assistance with BiPAP non-invasive ventilation, personal care before bed, and light domestic tasks in the early morning. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s life, with full training provided.
Pay & Shifts
- Shift Pattern: Waking nights, 21:30–07:30 (10-hour shifts)
- Permanent Part-time – 7-night shifts every 4 weeks
- Maternity cover Full-time - 13-night shifts every 4 weeks
- Rate: £16.20 per hour
- Bank Holidays: Paid at time-and-a-half
Key Responsibilities
- Provide waking night support, including monitoring and supporting the client with BiPAP non-invasive ventilation.
- Assist with personal care as the client prepares for bed.
- Support the client with light domestic tasks in the morning.
- Work as part of a four-weekly rolling rota.
- Flexibility to cover sickness, annual leave, and occasional shift extensions.

Head First is a CQC-registered Case Management company. We assist clients in recruiting and managing their own support teams. Head-First do not directly employ support workers, but we recruit them on behalf of our clients, and our dedicated and experienced case managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of the support team.
