Support Worker (Driver Essential)
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: £16.78 per hour
Vacancy Type: Permanent Contract, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm (30 Hours per Week)

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to join an established team supporting a young male client with cerebral palsy in Horsham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine working relationships and supporting someone to take part in the activities they enjoy, both at home and in the community.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be required to drive the client's automatic vehicle to support outings, appointments and social activities.
About the Client
Our client is sociable and enjoys:
- Watching football and sport
- Gaming on his PlayStation
- Meeting new people
- Going out into the community
- Spending time with others and having a chat
He uses a wheelchair when out and about but can walk short distances with support and a walking aid.
About the Role
No two days are the same. You'll support the client to live as independently as possible and take part in the activities he enjoys.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with personal care
- Assisting with mobility and daily routines
- Driving the client's automatic vehicle
- Accompanying the client to social and community activities
- Encouraging independence, choice and participation
- Supporting hobbies, interests and leisure activities
- Working as part of a wider support team
Previous care experience is welcomed but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)

- Confidence in supporting personal care (training provided)
- Enthusiasm for supporting someone to live an active and independent life
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check (funded if required)
