Night Shift Warehouse Operator
Location: Nottingham
Hours: Sunday 23:0006:00, MondayThursday 22:0006:00
Salary: Up to £27,000 (depending on experience) + shift allowance
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operator to join a leading Manufacturing client on a permanent night shift basis. This is a standalone role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining smooth warehouse operations overnight.
Key Responsibilities

  • Follow written work instructions and processes accurately across all warehouse operations.
  • Perform packaging of finished goods in line with customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Handle, label, store, retrieve, and record parts and assemblies as required.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Pack and unpack cartons and prepare shipments for dispatch.
  • Operate packaging machinery and handle packaging materials appropriately.
  • Transport goods throughout the facility between departments using pallet trucks or trolleys.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items up to 50lbs without mechanical assistance.
  • Operate a forklift on a limited basis (training can be provided if required).
Requirements
  • General Secondary School education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems, and basic computer literacy essential.
  • Experience with shipping platforms (e.g. UPS Worldship, FedEx, DHL, Pitney Bowes) and preparing international shipping paperwork.
  • Able to work effectively on own initiative during night shifts, maintaining productivity and accuracy.
