About the Role
We are looking for a team player who is highly detail-oriented and reliable as a Proofreader to review and refine property survey reports, including RICS Homebuyer Reports and Housing Disrepair Reports. This role is ideal for someone with excellent written English, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to query inconsistencies or unclear technical content.
Key Responsibilities
- RICS Homebuyer Reports: Proofread reports for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ensure the report reads clearly, professionally, and consistently. Check that all sections are fully completed. Identify any missing information, contradictions, or unclear wording. Flag areas where further clarification from the Surveyor is required.
- Disrepair Reports: Ensure descriptions clearly reflect what the Surveyor observed. Check for a clear and logical explanation of the cause of defects. Ensure there is a well-explained opinion on remedial works required. Confirm that liability is clearly stated and justified. Improve clarity and readability without altering the technical meaning.
