As a Mechanical Commissioning Manager, you will lead and oversee the commissioning of mechanical systems across complex engineering projects. This includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building or industrial mechanical systems. The role ensures that all commissioning activities are thoroughly planned, executed, validated, and documented to meet project requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations. You will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and fully operational mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all commissioning deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement commissioning strategies, plans, and procedures aligned with project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance on commissioning requirements, performance criteria, and project scopes.
- Prepare or review commissioning programmes, integrated with the master construction programme.
- Lead commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC (chillers, AHUs, FCUs), ventilation systems, pumps, piping networks, and plumbing systems.
- Manage the witnessing of mechanical static testing and functionality testing of equipment.
- Oversee air and water testing commissioning activities to ensure system performance meets design intent.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and provide technical input on mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment submittals.
