Responsibilities In the role of Mechanical Engineer, we'll count on you to:Agree design duties with your Project Manager and Office Principal / Team Leaders. Carry out engineering concept design through to detailed designLiaise with the design team to co-ordinate detailed designs and agree manufacturers and samples.Help develop working practices in the Company.Implement and manage tasks in accordance with QA systems and company procedures on all projects (our systems are certified to ISO9001 and ISO14001).Assist with CAD resource requirements.QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a relevant subjectExperience of mechanical systems, HVAC engineering and multiples levels of resiliencePrevious experience in mechanical system design for Data Center/Data Centre projects Is ESSENTIALExperience in commercial or institutional facilitiesComputer experience using MS Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, manufacturer selection softwarePrevious experience within a design consultancy or engineering consulting firmSkills in project managing on-going jobs with limited supervision are desirableAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
