Primary Objectives

  • Ensure building services systems are properly commissioned according to requirements, with support from senior engineers.
  • Manage the commissioning process, validate results, and inspect systems for performance.
  • Provide consultative advice on commissioning strategies and scope.
  • Conduct measurements, surveys, and technical inspections.
  • Engage with team members to improve systems and promote HDR.
  • Develop technical expertise and participate in marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
  • Deliver high-quality, technical, and timely outputs.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning strategies.
  • Contribute to project documentation, reports, and validation procedures.
  • Review drawings, manuals, and technical submittals.
  • Support testing, commissioning activities, and documentation.
  • Participate in project planning, meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Utilize software tools to track commissioning progress.
  • Perform site inspections and interface with contractors and project managers.
  • Assist in developing project-specific method statements and test scripts.
  • Support continuous professional development and maintain QA systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, or working towards it.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT skills.
  • Positive attitude, resource management skills, and professional communication.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
