Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium sized landing gear systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the UK Controller, you’ll be responsible for providing financial reports, analysis and guidance to the business.
- Ensuring sales and cost of goods sold are accurately reported.
- Producing accurate and insightful commentary on sales margins.
- Identifying areas of overspend and working with the business to minimize the impact.
- Inventory reporting, provision calculations and co-leading the annual stock take with the Logistics Manager.
- Active role in producing financial forecasts and budgets.
- Improving and streamlining reports tailored to business need.
- Working with Operations and Programme Managers to deliver financial business objectives.
- Providing financial input on new business opportunities.
- Providing cover for the Assistant Controller as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
- Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver a positive change, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of cost analysis, inventory management, forecasting and budgeting.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines.
- High standard of IT literacy, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
- Superb analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Leadership potential and the ambition and drive to progress in the future.
- Objective/critical judgement required during financial reviews to deliver results.
- Good communication/presentation skills to be able to deliver financial/technical information to various stakeholders across the business.
