Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium sized landing gear systems.
As an Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for building and stripping a variety of simple and complex hydraulic units and conducting efficient inspections and fault-finding investigations.
Key Responsibilities:- Building, testing, and inspection of both routine and complex mechanical hydraulic systems
- Fit and assemble of sub-assembly parts and components
- Identifying and repairing mechanical issues
- The ability to use a variety of measuring equipment e.g. Micrometres
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and H.S.E Standards
- Working to engineering drawings, C.M.M s and Operation Instructions
- Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Assembly Fitter in the Aviation Industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulics systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Days shift 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8am-1.00pm. Alternating shift pattern, Early: 6.30am-2.15pm Monday-Thursday. Friday 6.30am-12.30pm. Late 2.00pm-9.45pm Monday-Thursday. Friday
- Overtime available after completion of training
