# Digital Marketing ExecutiveA mid-weight digital marketing role at HDC Consultancy for someone at least two years in. You own client accounts and the workflows behind them rather than assisting on someone else’s, design as well as market, and spot the gaps without being asked. Fully remote and open worldwide.Apply here Read the role firstFive minutes. A person reads every one. Level: Mid-levelLocation: Remote · AnywhereHours: Full-timeClosing: 31 January 2027## The roleThis is not an assistant job. You own the accounts you are given: the plan, the work, the output and the result. We need someone two or more years in who can take a brief and get on with it, because we are not training anyone into this. You will hold several clients at once, so carrying a lot and still finishing things is the job.We hire for this role anywhere in the world. The one thing we cannot flex on is the written English, because our clients and their customers read what you produce. You work across the whole mix: campaigns, social, email, content, and the design that goes with it. You build the creatives as well as plan them, write copy that sounds like the client rather than like a template, and keep the branding consistent everywhere it appears.Owning it means owning the workflow too. You decide how the work gets done on your accounts, set up the process so it runs weekly without being chased, and improve it when it stops working. Nobody is going to hand you a checklist. The part we care most about is the part nobody briefs you on. Noticing an account has gone quiet. Spotting that a landing page contradicts the ad running to it. Seeing that a client’s messaging has drifted. We want those found and fixed, not logged and left.Fully remote and async on Teams. The work here is consistent and ongoing rather than one-off projects.## What you'll do1. 1 Own the marketing on your client accounts end to end, several at once2. 2 Own the workflow behind them: set the process up, keep it running, improve it3. 3 Design creatives, social graphics and ad assets to a professional standard4. 4 Write copy that holds each client’s brand voice and messaging5. 5 Plan and schedule content, and keep the calendar genuinely full6. 6 Read the performance data and decide what changes, rather than reporting what happened7. 7 Keep branding consistent across the site, ads, social and email8. 8 Find the gaps in a client’s marketing and bring a fix, not just the problem9. 9 Keep up with platform changes, new techniques and what AI tools can now do## What we need from youThe essentials. If you have these, apply.* 2+ years in a hands-on digital marketing role* Experience owning accounts or channels yourself, not only supporting someone else’s* A portfolio of real work with the results behind it, not just the finished artwork* Genuine design ability in Canva, Figma or Adobe, and an eye for what looks right* A strong grasp of branding and messaging, and why consistency matters commercially* Able to run several projects at once without dropping any of them* Proactive. You find the gap and act on it rather than waiting for a brief* Excellent written English. You write copy that UK clients and their customers read, so it has to land first time without being rewritten* Enough overlap with UK hours to be reachable during the working day* An active learner who keeps up with trends, techniques and AI tooling### Helpful, but not requiredMissing all of these? Apply anyway. None of it is a dealbreaker.* A degree in marketing, business or communications* Hands-on paid ads experience on Meta or Google* Email marketing and automation (Brevo, Klaviyo, Mailchimp)* Basic video editing or motion graphics* SEO and content experience* Experience marketing local or service businesses## What good looks likeHow we'll know it's going well, so you know what you're measured on.* You hold several accounts at once and none of them go quiet* Your accounts run to a process you built, not one you were handed* Your creatives go out with light edits, because the standard is already there* You raise the gap before the client does* Clients recognise their own brand in everything you produce* You bring us a technique or a tool we were not already using## Why join HDC### 100% remoteWe care what you deliver, not where you sit, and we hire internationally. Async-first on Teams. Each role says where we can hire from and what hours it needs.### Live client workNo filler projects. You are on client websites and campaigns from your first week.### High standards, room to growWritten briefs and a high bar. As we grow, so does the job.### Long-term and stableWe hire people to stay. The ones who do end up shaping how the agency works.## How we hireFive steps.1. 1 ### Apply The form takes about five minutes. A short paragraph on why the role interests you, and your CV if you have one to hand.2. 2 ### We come back to the people going through If you are going through to the next stage, we will be in touch seven days after the closing date.3. 3 ### An informal conversation Thirty minutes on video with Harry. He wants to hear how you think, and to answer whatever you want to ask him.4. 4 ### A short paid task A small piece of work, so we both find out what it is like. We pay for your time whether or not we make an offer.5. 5 ### Offer If it suits us both, we move quickly. No fifth round, no chasing us for an answer.Start your application
