The Role
This is an individual-contributor Senior Solution Consultant role within pre-sales. You will work closely with sales, prospects, and customers to deliver discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and technical workshops, while also helping to build and scale the solution consulting function. The role offers high visibility and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support direct and partner sales through qualification, discovery, demonstrations, and technical workshops.
- Identify expansion and upsell opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Conduct competitive analysis and contribute to market and product intelligence.
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to understand and articulate the product roadmap.
- Support RFIs and RFPs from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Create reusable demo assets, technical materials, and enablement content.
- Support marketing initiatives, events, and customer engagements as required.
- Occasional UK and European travel.
About You:
- Strong background in pre-sales / solution consulting within B2B SaaS.
- Experience selling financial systems such as ERP, AP/AR, Order-to-Cash, EPM/CPM, Treasury, or Vendor Management solutions.
- Proven experience engaging with the Office of Finance (Controllership, FP&A, Treasury).
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms, including concepts such as LLMs, NLP, and Generative AI.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up or early-stage environment.
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience with platforms such as Workday, NetSuite, Intacct, or Oracle Cloud ERP is advantageous.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business preferred; professional qualifications are a plus but not essential.
Location: UK-based, remote-first role. Some travel may be required.
