A consultancy-led Project Manager role delivering commercial property projects from inception through completion. The position provides exposure to refurbishment, fit-out and development instructions across a varied client portfolio. Working within a multidisciplinary property consultancy, the successful candidate will manage project delivery, stakeholder coordination and programme performance. Highly flexible working arrangements are available alongside a permanent contract structure.
SALARY & PACKAGE
- £50,000 – £65,000 basic salary

THE ROLE
- Lead commercial property projects from inception through completion
- Manage refurbishment, fit-out and development instructions across multiple asset types
- Take ownership of project delivery programmes, governance and reporting requirements
- Act as the primary client contact throughout project lifecycles
- Coordinate design teams, consultants and contractors
- Prepare and maintain project execution plans
- Monitor project budgets, risks, procurement activities and key milestones
- Chair project meetings and issue progress and action reports
- Administer project change control procedures
- Manage consultant appointments and procurement processes
- Monitor project performance against agreed objectives
- Act as Employer’s Agent where required
- Support contract administration activities
- Ensure compliance with contractual and project requirements
- Collaborate with Building Surveying and Cost Consultancy teams
- Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders and client representatives
ABOUT THE CONSULTANCY
An independent multidisciplinary property consultancy providing Building Surveying, Cost Consultancy and Project Management services across the UK. The practice works with commercial property owners, occupiers, investors and developers across a diverse range of sectors. Continued growth in project instructions has created the requirement for an additional Project Manager to support expanding client demand.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Consultancy project management experience
- Commercial property project delivery experience
- Experience managing refurbishment and fit-out projects
- Strong understanding of project governance and reporting processes
- Knowledge of JCT contract suites
- Experience coordinating consultants and contractor teams
- Client-facing consultancy experience
- Commercial awareness and programme management capability
- APM, MRICS or MCIOB qualification desirable
- Full UK driving licence
