Overview

Newly Chartered Project Manager position for an MRICS professional moving into greater project ownership. The role covers project delivery from inception through completion across commercial offices, industrial and logistics, retail, life sciences, mixed-use and occupier-led projects. Hybrid working comprises three London office days and two remote days each week. Permanent, full-time position.

The Role

• Take increasing ownership of project instructions from inception through completion.
• Deliver projects against agreed programme, budget and client objectives.
• Support project governance, procurement, risk management and reporting.
• Coordinate external consultants, contractors and internal project teams.
• Monitor programmes, budgets, risks and key project deliverables.
• Prepare project reports and documentation for client and senior-level review.
• Provide structured advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Undertake contract administration during construction and delivery stages.
• Manage change control processes and assess the impact on programme and cost.
• Escalate programme, cost and delivery risks through appropriate governance channels.
• Maintain direct client communication and support project decision-making.
• Work across commercial offices, industrial and logistics, retail, life sciences, mixed-use and occupier-led projects.
• Ensure projects meet agreed quality, commercial and compliance requirements.

About the Consultancy

An established property and construction consultancy providing project management and building consultancy services to commercial property clients. Instructions cover multiple asset classes from initial project planning through construction and completion. Continued workload across its core sectors is creating a requirement for additional recently chartered project management resource.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualified in a property, construction or project management discipline.
• MRICS qualified, ideally within the previous 12 to 24 months.
• Consultancy, property or construction project management experience.
• Experience supporting or delivering projects through multiple lifecycle stages.
• Exposure to project planning, procurement, risk management and reporting.
• Understanding of contract administration and change management.
• Experience coordinating consultants and contractors.
• Client-facing experience with the ability to provide structured project advice.
• Commercial judgement around programme, cost, risk and project delivery.
• Experience within commercial offices, industrial and logistics, retail, life sciences, mixed-use or occupier projects would be relevant.
