This graduate-level Building Surveying position is suited to a recent graduate or early-career surveyor seeking structured APC progression within a commercial consultancy environment. The role offers exposure to professional Building Surveying instructions across commercial property, with direct mentoring from chartered surveyors. Hybrid working is available subject to business requirements. Permanent position.

The Role
Primary focus is supporting the delivery of commercial Building Surveying instructions while progressing APC competencies.
- Assist with technical Building Surveying instructions across commercial property assets
- Support inspections, measured surveys and site investigations
- Prepare technical reports, schedules and associated documentation
- Assist with contract administration and project delivery support
- Support dilapidations, defect diagnosis and general professional work exposure
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation
- Develop APC competencies through structured supervised experience
- Report directly to senior chartered Building Surveyors
- Gain exposure to client-facing instruction delivery in a controlled environment

Independent property consultancy delivering Building Surveying and associated commercial property advisory services. Client base includes investors, occupiers and commercial asset owners across multiple sectors. Candidate Requirements
- RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or closely related discipline
- First Class degree preferred, although strong 2:1 candidates will be considered
- Strong academic background throughout education
- Recent graduate or early Building Surveying experience considered
- Commitment to completing APC and achieving MRICS status
- Exposure to commercial property through placement, internship or early employment advantageous
- Strong written communication capability for technical reporting
- Professional client-facing communication standard
