HD Law is a fast-growing legal business based in Spinningfields, Manchester, that is rapidly becoming one of the most ambitious and talked-about firms in the consumer litigation sector. As part of our continued expansion, we're looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Solicitor to join our growing legal team.

This is a senior position for an experienced solicitor who wants more than a traditional private practice caseload. You'll be joining a commercially ambitious, high-growth environment where legal judgement, risk assessment, technical quality and operational discipline matter every day.

Working closely with senior legal leadership, you'll take on real responsibility and play a key role in how complex litigation work is assessed, managed and progressed at scale.

As the Senior Litigation Solicitor, your role will include:

  • Reviewing complex legal issues and assessing overall case quality
  • Advising on risk and supporting strategic decision-making across the legal team
  • Maintaining high standards and operational discipline across a growing legal operation
  • Executing high-level drafting, case analysis, and legal reviews
  • Ensuring full compliance with SRA obligations and regulated legal practice
  • Managing complexity and understanding how litigation quality affects client outcomes and financial performance
  • Providing senior-level influence over how litigation work is delivered and progressed
  • Working closely with senior legal leadership and partners to drive business goals
  • Challenging risk where required and maintaining accountability for legal decisions

Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a current practising certificate

  • Ideally 5+ years PQE with extensive litigation experience
  • Excellent drafting, analysis, and legal review skills
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to make clear, authoritative legal decisions
  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to assess risk properly
