Hours:10.7 hours per week including regular weekends and evenings

Do you want to help make the history of Winchester come alive?

As a vital member of our front of house team across The Great Hall, Westgate and City Museum, you’ll be at the heart of the visitor experience. You’ll help bring 1,000 years of history to life, exciting and inspiring visitors to both sites. You will be involved in all aspects of the operation at the venues, from selling tickets, delivering visitor tours, working in our shop and cafe, to supporting events and hires. You will work alongside our volunteers to ensure the team delivers fantastic customer service and outstanding events.

A bit about you

You’ll be a people person and will enjoy meeting new customers every day with a great understanding of what makes exceptional customer service. You’ll be a great communicator and will love putting your excellent people skills to use to make every visitor feel valued and welcome. You’ll be a supportive team player, always willing to jump in and lend a hand, but you’ll also be happy to work on your own initiative when necessary.
