Salary: £9,466.08 pro rata per annum (£23,665.20 FTE)

Location: Willis Museum & Sainsbury Gallery, Basingstoke

Hours: 2 days per week (flexible) with regular weekend working

Do you want to help bring cultural experiences to life?

You’ll be at the heart of welcoming visitors to this historic building which tells the story of Basingstoke, alongside high quality changing exhibitions. You’ll provide outstanding customer service, support our retail and admissions processes, and help ensure the Museum remains a well‑presented and inspiring place for everyone.

Alongside front of house duties such as providing excellent customer service, carrying out regular health and safety checks and taking care of our collections.

A bit about you

You’ll be a people-focused, proactive team member with a passion for great visitor engagement. You will enjoy meeting new people, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere, and providing excellent customer service. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise and plan your time well, supervise and delegate tasks to a small team of volunteers, and evidence of following operational processes and procedures. You will also be confident using a range of digital systems, including box office, retail and stock systems.
