About the Role
HCRG Staffing are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria for a local authority / Council in a social care team. Our client is looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience of specialist seating and moving and handling who can do CHC funded case work. You will need to be on site just 2 or 3 days a week minimum with the other days working from home.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review all "stable" CHC funded cases
- Assess and provide interventions for new CHC funded cases referred in
- Support with the transition of CHC cases from existing team members to the new EPWs
Who We Are Looking For
Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Licenses: HCPC registered
Experience: 2 years experience.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use own initiative to provide information and support to other staff.
