b Overview /b p In this role you will deliver specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children within a multidisciplinary developmental paediatrics team. You will help shape care pathways, contribute to audits and service development, and supervise and mentor staff. You will work to deliver high-quality care in the community with a clear focus on safeguarding and holistic outcomes. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salary /li li flexible pay access /li li wellbeing support /li li CPD and ongoing learning opportunities /li li innovation funding for projects /li li inclusive culture and equal opportunities /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Conduct developmental paediatric clinics and prepare timely reports (SEND, school medicals, Looked After Children) /li li Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for assessments, treatment, and follow-ups /li li Coordinate with other health professionals to ensure integrated care /li li Supervise, teach and train staff /li li Contribute to audits, clinical governance and service improvements /li li Engage in personal development and support colleagues development /li li Adhere to infection control, confidentiality and professional standards /li li Engage in direct clinical care, administration, safeguarding and peer reviews as part of the Job Plan /li li Participate in CPD, teaching, governance and service improvements as SPA /li li Access CPD and study leave to meet professional requirements /li li Annual appraisals covering full scope of practice /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li UK recognised medical degree /li li Current GMC registration /li li Current work permit (if appropriate) /li li Evidence of training in child protection assessment (level 3) and health assessments; further training in assessment of child sexual abuse available in post /li li Knowledge of multidisciplinary, inter-professional practice including primary care and social services /li li Desirable: MRCPCH/MRCP or equivalent /li li Desirable: Higher specialist training in Developmental Paediatrics /li li Desirable: Experience with standardised developmental assessments for children /li li Desirable: Experience in autism assessment and care for Looked After Children /li li Desirable: MSc/diploma in community child health or related /li li Desirable: CCT in Community Child Health /li li Other: Driver with own car for business use /li /ul ul li collaborative /li li strong communication /li li professionalism and ethics /li li developmental paediatrics /li li SEND assessments /li li Looked After Children care /li /ul
