Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse Band 5 looking to make a genuine difference in a supportive and friendly setting? The Unit Provides Sub Acute Care, Rehabilitation and End of Life care for the residents of Wiltshire. This is an innovative unit with an integrated multi-disciplinary team. Clinical leadership is provided by a team of Consultant Nurses across the organisation, supporting the Clinical team of Doctors, ACPs, Therapists, Nurses, Support workers and Health Care Assistants, ensuring individual holistic care for the people we care for as well as support for their carers and families. Ward Leadership is provided by the Senior Sister who has a strong belief in Compassionate Leadership. Supporting and Nurturing Staff to reach their full potential. We provide the training, support and professional development you need to become a confident, competent Registered Nurse, delivering high standards of care within a Unit that you can be proud of. We are open to conversations around flexible working patterns.

Main duties of the job:

  • Registered Nurse, Assessing, planning, Implementing and Evaluating Nursing Care.
  • Supervising and supporting Nursing Associates, Junior staff, and students.
  • You will put to use your strong communication and organisation skills, along with a flexible approach, to ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
  • You’ll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work to help us continue to change things for the better.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will be a NMC registered Nurse, you will have the ability to work both independently and also as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. It is expected that you should have strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach which will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
