HCRG Care Group is inviting applications for a Part‑time Specialty Grade Doctor in Sexual and Reproductive Health. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term based in the Oldham Integrated Care Centre, supporting the Oldham, Bury and Rochdale Sexual Health Service.
You are expected to deliver clinics for Long‑Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) and provide testing and management of sexually transmitted infections, including PEPSE and PrEP consultations. Clinics will be booked appointments, GP referrals, direct bookings and walk‑ins – with no direct inpatient responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities- Participate in Clinical Governance, Clinical Audit, CME and meet NHS CPD requirements.
- Follow HCRG Care Group policies and practices, including risk management, health and safety, and information governance.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and data collection in line with NHS and GMC standards.
- Engage in appraisal and revalidation processes, maintaining professional standards.
- Basic medical qualification registrable in the UK with current GMC registration.
- Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) and Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine (DipGUM) or equivalent.
- Letter of competence in IUC or equivalent and in sub‑dermal implants or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years medical work (2 years in integrated sexual health specialty or related specialty).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and patient communication skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, delegate responsibilities and supervise staff.
- Ability to undertake robust audit and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work flexibly and to travel as needed.
