We are looking for a permanent Band 5 Children’s Occupational Therapist to join our Community Children’s Therapy Team in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest. You will join our award-winning Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service, where we are trailblazing a new integrated partnership model with Barnardo's.

As a Children’s Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for a caseload of children in the Harlow area, working at universal, targeted and specialist levels. You’ll work closely with our team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants, within a diverse multidisciplinary team. You will benefit from the support of friendly and inclusive colleagues and access regular supervision with a Band 7 Occupational Therapist.

You will carry a mixed complex caseload of children aged 0-19 years, delivering specialist interventions across a range of areas. You will work in settings including schools, community clinics/hubs, homes and special schools, providing a high standard of child-centred service delivery, in line with best practice.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration. You will have strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach to ensure you deliver positive experiences to service users at every stage of their healthcare journey.

As this is a community role, it is essential that you hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes.
