Overview
As a Band 6 Podiatrist in our Podiatry Service, you will deliver specialist community podiatry across multiple locations, including patient homes, and participate in rotations through MSK and nail surgery. You will collaborate with vascular, orthopaedics and nursing teams to manage complex wound and foot conditions and lead clinics. The role supports professional development through dedicated training days and an emphasis on high-quality, multidisciplinary care. This is a community-focused opportunity to shape outcomes for adults and children while growing your podiatry expertise.

Responsibilities
- Manage wound and ulcer care for patients with complex systemic conditions
- Lead new patient clinics, nail surgery assessment clinics, high-risk foot clinics, and basic MSK assessments
- Develop professional links across care pathways and multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate clearly with patients to ensure understanding and engagement in treatment
- Participate in specialist clinical rotations to gain experience while delivering expert care to adults and children
Key requirements
- HCPC registration as Podiatrist
- Professional degree of equivalent in Podiatry
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
- Qualified in administering Local Anesthesia
- Driving license and access to a car for community visits
- Desirable: Diabetic Foot Module or Vascular Training
- Desirable: NHS setting experience
- Clear and effective communication
