We are looking for a committed and compassionate Band 5 Registered General Nurse to join our healthcare team at HMP Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential nursing care in a secure setting, making a real impact on the health and wellbeing of people in our care. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care to a diverse patient group, helping to improve health outcomes in a unique environment. The role requires autonomous function within the scope of competency, whilst being a support and resource to less experienced members of staff. Responsibilities include providing primary care services, assessing patients, planning their care, and making appropriate recommendations on prisoner care. You'll also partake in clinical consultations within the enhanced care unit and undertake clinical audits. We seek individuals who are professional, unbiased, and capable of autonomous practice. qualifications include being a Registered RGN with current NMC PIN, having clinical examination skills and venepuncture experience, and being part of a multi-disciplinary team. A current driving license is also required.
