Location: TBC but maybe required to travel to all services across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) region

HCRG Care Group is seeking a highly experienced and credible clinician to take on the pivotal role of Clinical Governance Lead. We are committed to providing high-quality, proactive care and treatment for populations across our community services within the BSW region. This role is key to the provision of challenge and support for evidence-based clinical practice and is designed to ensure safe service delivery and enhanced service user experience across adult and children’s health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Culture of Quality: Working closely with the Quality Improvement Lead, you will promote and actively support a culture of continuous monitoring against identified quality metrics and adherence to best practice standards.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Ensure service managers and clinical teams have the necessary information and learning from national evidence to support safe, evidence-based care.
- Clinical Audit: Lead a robust programme of clinical audit, ensuring results and learning are shared effectively and audit cycles are fully completed.
- Governance Support: Utilise your enhanced clinical skills and demonstrable experience of governance processes to support senior clinical leaders in their understanding and practice of robust clinical governance.
Candidate Profile
The successful post-holder will be a highly experienced and credible clinician with a demonstrable understanding of governance processes, requirements, and strategies within healthcare. You will possess enhanced clinical skills and a passion for driving quality improvement and patient safety across our services.
