Weāre looking for a passionate and dynamic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our exciting Rapid Response and Intermediate Care Team working in the community and ināpatient rehabilitation unit. Youāll be working closely with a team of Occupational Therapists as well as collaboratively with our Physiotherapists, Nursing and Support Worker colleagues.
- Undertake 6āmonth rotations into Intermediate Care, Rapid Response and the Ināpatient Rehabilitation Unit
- Complete holistic initial assessments with patients
- Devise treatment plans in line with patientsā goals
- Liaise with family members/relatives and carers
- Implement and deliver treatment interventions
- Complete followāup review visits with patients
- Delegate to support worker colleagues
- Attend and participate in clinical meetings, team meetings and ināservice training
This is an opportunity to put your Degree in Occupational Therapy to great use. You will have a full driving licence with access to a car, you will be motivating, innovative and adaptable, with the ability to work flexibly across specialities as need arises, holding the HCPC (Occupational Therapist) registration. With strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach you will ensure delivery of positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
