Administration Assistant – Contraception and Sexual Health at HCRG Care Group
Job Introduction
Working directly with our multidisciplinary team, you will assist the administration team with daily tasks, demonstrate excellent IT and workload management skills, provide exceptional customer service on reception and over the phone, order and take deliveries, and be flexible in supporting other teams and administration assistants. This role is part time (14.5 hours per week), fixed term for 12 months.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake reception duties, including updating patients\’ personal details and organising follow-up appointments or adding patients to an outpatient waiting list following a standard operating procedure.
- Create, update and amend patient case notes, ensuring all patient demographics are accurate as required.
- Ensure telephone enquiries are dealt with in a polite and courteous manner.
- Support with negative results and patient communication.
- Undertake photocopying, facsimiles, email, memo requests and basic ad-hoc copy typing if required.
- Maintain a filing system for hard copy records, ensure electronic records are maintained in line with local policy and guidelines.
- Sort, distribute and action incoming mail if required.
- Work across multiple locations throughout Cheshire West and Chester, including Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Winsford, Neston and Blacon.

The Ideal Candidate
- Has a full driving licence and access to a car
- Recent experience working in an administrative or customer service role
- Familiar with IT systems
- Has worked in NHS/healthcare (desirable)
